I have to brag on my husband. He makes the best egg burritos. He was making breakfast this morning and I made it a point to get in his way and try my hand at cooking photography.

Last week my daughter said I should take a bokeh shot of her and her siblings’ favorite ornament. What perfect timing for Happy Monday…
This little ornament has hung at the bottom of our tree since the kids were old enough to want it there. Why? Because they would lie under the tree and wind it up on the string and let it spin. And at 21, 20, and 19, they still want it in its place. =)

Sereina at Sereina Charise Photography is hosting a month-long Christmas link-up. Week 1 is Christmas Decor so I thought I’d try to get some shots of my Nativity. Well, I need a whole lot more practice with low-light photography…or better lenses. 
Anyway, I did kind of like how these two turned out. I used my 50 mm f/1.8. I actually really like the change in perspective between the two…just wish they were a little sharper.
