Lifted ~ Scripture & A Snapshot ~ Week 27

by brenda

Doubt and inadequacy.

We all feel them.  Lately they’ve become a recurring theme in the back of my mind, sometimes pushing to the forefront making me feel like I’m being foolish and should just quit.

But…

With arm around me and finger under my chin, My loving Father gently turns my face away from the doubt and back toward Him.

It continually amazes me the things He uses. This morning it was today’s post from Seth Godin. It’s an odd thing to be moved to tears while grinning…but that’s what happens when I recognize that soft Touch, that tender Pressure.

The Lifter of my head.

Abba, thank you for Your gracious re-direction.

How does He turn your head?

“But You, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my Glory, and the lifter of my head.”

~ Psalm 3:3 ~
